CALHOUN

Your hour, undivided — one set, one artisan, finished to the edge.

Nail Salon in Calhoun, GA

By Friday the week has usually had its say. The early shifts, the school runs — and the list that somehow grew while you were busy doing it. Gordon County works hard, and hands show it first. This is the hour on Red Bud Road that gives a little of it back. Settle in, hand the day over, and let one pair of hands take their time with yours. It's the kind of quiet you used to drive to a bigger town for. You don't anymore.

One artisan, start to finish

Most salons run your set down a line — one person shapes, another paints, somebody else seals. We don't. At the Calhoun studio, Katelin's bench works the old way: one artisan takes your hands from the consultation to the last pass under the lamp, no handoff in between. It isn't the fastest way to do nails. It's the most careful one — and it's why the words that keep showing up in our reviews are she took her time and I never felt rushed. That's not a habit we intend to break.

The work, and what it costs

Custom sets start at $48 in acrylic or gel, and hand-painted art from $10 a nail — the full list, every price in the open, is on the menu. One opinion, gently held: if your weeks are hard on your hands — water, cleaning products, keyboards, kids — dip powder (from $40) is the one we'd point you to. It wears for weeks without complaint and comes off clean when you're ready for the next one.

Service by service, with every price: manicures at the Calhoun studio · pedicures at the Calhoun studio.

Pedicures run from the Classic ($32) to the Tropical Deluxe ($77) — the warm soak, the sugar scrub, the hot towels, the slow candle-oil massage — built for the version of you that's been standing all week.

And a promise we keep at both doors: we'll always tell you the price before we start. A "+" on the menu means the set begins there and rises with length and art — and you'll hear the total before a single tool is lifted. No surprises at the register, ever.

The hour itself

The room stays quiet on purpose. You'll get the welcome and a warm towel, and the bench will be spotless before you sit down — we're particular about clean the way some places are particular about speed. Bring a photo if you have one; bring nothing but the week if you don't. Either way, we'll keep a note on your shape and your shade, so next time the chair already knows you.

En español

Aquí también se habla español. En Calhoun tomamos nuestro tiempo con cada set de uñas — sin prisa y sin sorpresas en el precio: siempre le decimos el total antes de empezar. Questions we hear at the door
Do you take walk-ins in Calhoun?

Yes — walk-ins are welcome any day we're open, and appointments are recommended if you're coming for a full set or a specific hour. We're at 456 Red Bud Rd NE with parking right outside the door.

How much is a full set at the Calhoun studio?

Custom sets start at $48 in acrylic or gel, and dipping powder from $40. We post every price and always tell you the total before we start — no surprises at the register.

Is the Calhoun studio open on Sunday?

Calhoun rests on Sundays. If Sunday is your only day, our Rome studio is open 12–5 PM, about half an hour down the road at 715 Turner McCall Blvd NE.

Do you do nails for quinceañeras, weddings, and bridal parties?

Yes — occasion sets are some of our favorite work, and we take reservations for parties of six or more. Call (762) 204-2537 and we'll plan the sets around your date.

How long does a set take if one artisan does everything?

Plan on about an hour to ninety minutes depending on length and art. One artisan shapes, builds, and finishes your set start to end — it isn't the fastest way to do nails, it's the most careful one.

Whenever the week lets go of you, we're here — and if it's been a while, don't worry. We kept a note.
